INBOX private post please. hi my due date is today and the midwife did an attempted sweep but couldnt as my cervix was still closed but she says it was favourable, soft and low(it was to the side but she moved it forward) and she says she could feel my babys head moving about. she was talking about trying to do another sweep next week but if it doesnt work iv to be induced which i dont want.But what exactly does this mean? could i sill go into labour within the next few days or what? Anyone else been told this, what happened? Any ideas on what to do to help open my cervix? thanks, sorry for all the questions.. x high low prom
